Our Story
Our Story
Refining operations and processes led to a pivotal request from a client: could we develop a permanent operational solution for centrally managed equipment such as IV pumps, beds, cribs, and more? Rising to the challenge, we built our Equipment Management program, which quickly became the cornerstone of our operations. As our operational services outpaced consulting, we embraced a new identity: HealthOps.
Efficiency and reliability became not just ideals, but necessities. We believe our defining moment arrived on a day when equipment demands overwhelmed our available supply. A nurse, advocating for her patient, asked for an early delivery, outside the normal SLA. Our Director of Operations replied, “I appreciate that you are doing your best to look after your patient and we will get them everything they need before they need it. Bear with us, I have 400 patients I’m looking after.” That realization; every request represented a patient in need, reshaped our culture. Compassion, accountability, and operational excellence became our guiding values. The results spoke for themselves: we transformed a previous on-time fulfillment rate of 50% to an unprecedented 98%, a rate maintained for our client since for over 6 years.
Reshape Healthcare as the preeminent partner in support operations
Every journey has a beginning, and ours started in 2013, when we opened our doors as Silva and Associates, a consulting firm, laser focused on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance. From the outset, our passion was clear: we thrived on solving complex healthcare challenges and crafting solutions that met the uncompromising standards of The Joint Commission, a necessity for any hospital aiming to deliver safe, high quality care.
As our expertise deepened, so did our ambitions. Hospitals began turning to us for help beyond compliance, inviting us into departments like Nursing, Food Service, Environmental Services, and Engineering. By 2015, our team had grown and so had our vision. We rebranded as Silva Consulting Solutions, LLC, and launched our first operational project. Our inaugural Deep Clean Program emerged, designed to raise the bar for hospital support services and create safer, more efficient environments for patients and staff.
